Foreclosure Refunds

About Us

Our team has the systems, knowledge, and experience to know how to take the many complicated legal steps that are needed to get the money that is owed to you.

Our clients get top-notch service from professionals with years of experience getting back unclaimed money...

  • Without ever having to pay anything out of your own pocket.
  • Without needing to appear in court ever.
  • Without ever giving out personal information like their Social Security number or bank account information.

We at NuWin Recovery think that these funds should go to the hard-working families and individuals who are owed them.

The Process

STEP 1

Preliminary Audit and Notification

NuWin Recovery does preliminary audits of agencies all over the country to look for unclaimed funds. People and families who are owed money get a call, an email, a letter in the mail, or are contacted through social media. If you are on this site, it's likely that one of our professionals has already contacted you and let you know you're owed money.

STEP 2

Confirmation and Documentation

After one of our Asset Recovery Specialists has explained everything you need to know about the fund recovery process and answered any questions you may have, we arrange for a third-party notary to meet you in person at a time and place of your choosing to get the necessary paperwork signed.

This gives us permission to contact the office holding the money on behalf of our clients and help ensure you are the person who is owed the money.

STEP 3

Filing Your Petition

Once the notarized documents are received, you will be given an attorney and a representative in our processing department who will be your point of contact throughout the process.

After we make sure the information is correct, our legal team starts putting together the paperwork needed to send the petition. Our legal team will go to any court hearings and talk to the government agency often until all of the money is returned. This whole process can take between 3 and 8 months, depending on whether you are the person who is owed the money or an heir.

STEP 4

Cash Your Check

As soon as the claim is approved, the check is made and sent directly to you or the place or person you assign the funds to. This money needs to be reported on your annual tax return, but once the check clears, you and your family can spend it on whatever is most important to you.
